Most mining share prices moved down in the past three weeks, due to falling gold-silver prices. As Jim noted last week, it was a “one-time re-pricing” event, based on anticipation of a December rate hike by the Fed. The idea, though, is that we’re in a generally rising price environment for gold, for a multitude of reasons. Worldwide gold output is predicted to fall which will lead to scarcity of metal from the mines.
