May Portfolio Update

Conditions are getting very difficult for investors who went into this Fed tightening cycle unprepared. Thankfully, we’ve had a nice string of wins in our put spreads in recent months. We still have the Chipotle (CMG) put spread as an open position, but the other three positions listed below are now officially closed. Dan gives guidance in this month’s portfolio review.

We had a few nice trade exits in mid-November, and we hope many of our trades were valuable hedges for your portfolio in 2021. This put spread strategy will be even more effective if we encounter a tougher environment for the stock indices in 2022 (which we expect). For now, Dan gives guidance on all open positions in the portfolio, including two underwater positions expiring on Dec. 17.
